Rosalind S. Teton School of Nursing caters a number of facilities to the students like wide classrooms, with well-ventilated, lighted and refreshing atmosphere. There are the latest technological and well-equipped rooms, Demonstration Room, Computer Laboratory, Nursing Laboratory, etc. The Library Room has the latest books & journals; students have an open access for the same. The hostel has a homely atmosphere and the mess serves only vegetarian food. Students also have a variety of recreational facility in the campus only.The Faculty members of this School are a well experienced and highly qualified in their respective areas. Along with the theory classes, the students are given a wide clinical experience in various fields of Bhaktivedanta Hospital as well as in other Hospitals.The first batch of students has won a Rolling Trophy for their excellent performance in co-curricular activities held by Trained Nurses Association Of India.At present, the School admits 20 students in each year’s batch. We are the pioneers of teaching a new subject on Spiritual Care for the nursing students and this knowledge they will be able to implement in their nursing career. Students are personally attended to their needs and problems.
A I M S
This Basic Course of General Nursing and Midwifery is geared to the health needs of the individual, community and the country, at large.
The aims of the “DIPLOMA IN GENERAL NURSING AND MIDWIFERY” Programme are:
- To prepare Nurses with a sound educational programme in nursing, to enable them to function as efficient members of the Health Team, beginning with the competencies for first level positions in all kinds of health care settings.
- To help Nurses develop the ability to co-operate and co-ordinate with other Health Team members in the prevention of diseases, promotion of health; care and rehabilitation of the sick.
- To help Nurses in continued personal and professional development so that they are able to make their maximum contribution to society as useful and productive individuals and citizens, as well as efficient Nurses.
- To prepare Nurses for further professional education and specialization in Nursing in order to keep pace with professional and technological developments, and to use these for providing health care services.
Objectives
The Nurse, on completion of this Course, will be able to:
- Function effectively with other members of the Health Team and community, applying the knowledge of human relations and communication in their work and in delivery of curative, preventive, promotive and rehabilitative health care service.
- Mobilize community resources and their involvement in working with the communities.
- Demonstrate an understanding of and commitment to practicing ethical values in their personal and professional life.
- Demonstrate interest in activities of professional organizations.
- Recognize the need for continuing education for personal and professional development.
- Demonstrate beginning skills in teaching and nursing patients, as well as in administration and leadership skills in working with other members of the Health Team and community.
- To demonstrate skills of empathy, counseling, etc., while understanding emotional and spiritual needs of the patients.
- Assist in research activities.

I. Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing (2 years Degree Program)
Eligibility:
§ 10 + 2 (any Stream)
§ Must Pass Diploma in Revised General Nursing & Midwifery (R.G.N.M.)
Admission Process:
§ This course starts from 1st August of every year
§ From March/ April we start issuing prospectus for Rs. 500.
§ In May we conduct written Test and interview of selected candidates followed by medical Test
§ In may end we declared final merit list of selected candidates.
Fees:
Rs. 54,000/- (Rs. 44,000/- Tuition Fees + Rs. 10,000/- Registration fees+ Library Fees + All Laboratory charges + Printing & Stationary charges, etc., (This may vary each year)

II. Revised General Nursing & Midwifery (3 ½ years Diploma Program)
Eligibility:
§ 12th Pass above 40 % marks (any stream)
§ Age not more than 33 years
Admission Process:
§ This course starts from 1st August of every year
§ From 1st week of June, we start issuing prospectus for Rs.200/-.
§ In July we conduct written Test and interview of selected candidates followed by medical Test
§ In 3rd week of July we declared final merit list of selected candidates.
Fees:
§ Rs. 40,000/- (Tuition Fees + Library Fees + Affiliation fees + Laboratory Charges , etc., (This may vary for each year)
§ Rs. 30,000/- (Hostel & Food charges- This may vary for each year)
