HARE KRISHNA HARE RAMA

“My feelings about Bhaktivedanta Hospital is so good regarding all aspects of care and co-ordination, are such as :.

  1. Cleanliness.
  2. Caring nature of the staff.
  3. Doctors’ ability to diagnose the disease accurately.
  4. All facilities available under one roof (DiagnosticTests, CT-Scan, X-Ray, Pharmacy, etc.).
  5. Patient care is given both medically and spiritually.
  6. The relaxing environment makes a patient hopeful of speedy recovery.
  7. It’s an excellent hospital for me and all of society.

I PRAY THAT BHAKTIVEDANTA HOSPITAL BECOMES THE TOPMOST HOSPITAL IN THE WORLD – It is my dream and I hope it comes true in the coming future. . . . . . . !”

“. . . . . . The patient recovered very early because of the favourable environment and proper treatment given by Doctors. I want to offer special thanks to Dr. Mrs. Jyotsna Zope and Dr. Uday.

It is my observation that your staff, i.e. brothers, wardboys, and sisters are insufficient, because I have personally experienced that it takes at least 15 to 30 minutes, every time, for shifting the patient. . . . . . . .”

“Everything is spic and span, neat and clean; good services, but quantity of food served is more than patient’s requirement. Heart Echo Test Section clock is not working – since efficiency is of such a high level, you could also pay attention to such small things. . . . . . . . .”

HARE KRISHNA

“My name is Vijayalakshmi (Vijaya Gopika). . . . . . . . . I feel like I stayed in a temple.

I come from the South – so, the food was not according to my satisfaction; some of it is very good, but please improve the quality. They put more coriander leaves stems, sugar and tomatoes in all items. . . . . . . this is my opinion.

Spiritual Department ‘matajis’ are very nice and intimate with me – they give so much spiritual knowledge. These activities should be followed in other hospitals. Bhaktivedanta is the only Hospital of its kind in India, today. I feel you should advertise on Television. . . . . . . .

Generally, sick people always think of God. But here, God visits the patients in every room, and gives ‘prasadam’ and blessings. It is very auspicious. . . . .”

“-       . . . . . . Payment Counter staff were very co-operative and guided me in admission procedures. . . . . . . .

 -       Doctors / Nurses / Catering / Housekeeping were all fantastic – patients were treated like
family members.

 -       The environment is entirely different – I never felt that I was in a hospital but got the impression that I am in a Temple at the lotus feet of Lord Krishna, without having to worry about my illness.

 -       The spiritual music is creating positive energy in the mind; continuous chanting is very pleasant.

SUGGESTIONS :

  1. Pharmacy
    1. Issuing of medicines and printing bills is very very slow like a snail – speed needs to be improved.
    2. As in other hospitals, medicines should be delivered to the respective wards
by the Pharmacy Dept. only. Pharmacy billing needs to be included in the total bill. Patients’ relatives or attendants waste lot of time getting medicines at the Pharmacy – they could spend that same time with their patient.
  2. Billing / Discharge :- The time take for Discharge and Final Billing is ridiculous. After
spending so many days in hospital, the patient is always eager to go home as early as possible. Final Billing & Discharge procedures shouldn’t exceed more than 30 minutes.”

Sub : Pursuit of Kaizen (continuous improvement).

“My family and I have always admired the treatment given by Doctors from Shri Chaitanya
Seva Trust and Bhaktivedanta Hospital, since its inception.

I was admitted to Bhaktivedanta Hospital on 11.03.2006, and have made some observations which I thought I should share with you, in order to uphold the good image of the hospital.

Anybody admitted to the hospital, whether in Economy, Second Class or Deluxe, expects to get REST. However, certain factors contribute towards a NOISY environment causing disturbance to patients :

  1. Too much noise in the corridors because of banging of doors, dropping of steel utensils, people talking loudly on mobiles, etc.
  2. Mosquitoes bother patients despite the chemical sprayed every evening. Perhaps the mosquitoes have become immune to the chemical, now.
  3. During NON-VISITING hours, more than one relative should not be allowed.

I always feel tat DISCIPLINE is of prime importance in two institutions – a school and a hospital. Please impose discipline to ensure PEACE. Best Wishes.”

“According to me, there are some suggestions and requests :-
  1. The staff should speak softly in the ward, especially at night.
  2. The nurses required specialized training so that they can handle patients well, i.e. while pricking for an I.V. line, etc.
  3. There should be more effective communication, between the nurses, while handing over.

Otherwise, the environment is good for patients. However, the above mentioned observations are my personal opinion – if you don’t like it, then please throw this paper in the dustbin and forgive me for this.

Your well wisher,

Mr. Johny C. B.

  1. “The Doctors were very co-operative and knowledgeable.
  2. The staff was also very co-operative and caring.
  3. Improve the quality of food.
  4. Please provide meals to the mother, in the ward, because she cannot leave her child patient alone to go down and eat in the canteen.”
