Community Services

Overview

Bhaktivedanta Hospital & Research Institute was started with the aim of providing. This is reflected in our motto of caring for the community and serving humanity.Since its inception, the 300-bedded multispecialty tertiary hospital in North Mumbai has been serving the community by delivering qualitative and affordable medical services at one's doorsteps.

Our hospital conducts numerous outreach camps in rural areas stretching up to 150 kms from Mira Road. Our aim is to not just provide health services but to create a healthy environment and fulfill the medical needs of the marginalized community in remote and urban areas through standalone camps. Customised health camps are organised extensively across the rural areas to provide health services – curative, preventive, promotive and referral to large number of people.

Bhaktivedanta Hospital & Research Institute regularly conducts senior citizens' health check-up camps for those deprived of medical facilities in the tribal and rural areas.

Camps are also conducted with various anganwadis as part of our malnutrition eradication camp. These camps are meant to provide services to those who don’t have access to pediatric consultancy and dietary supplements.

The camps, conducted regularly by the Community Services team, aim to provide comprehensive care for the community that promotes both, health and prevention.
