Palliative Care
Overview
The Department of Palliative Care at Bhaktivedanta Hospital & Research Institute was incepted in 2007. Since then, it has provided services to more than 2000 families in the Mumbai vicinity - including Mira Road, Bhayander, suburbs of North Mumbai, Thane, Vasai-Virar, and more.
Our palliative staff is dedicated to provide holistic healthcare to support to critically ill patients and their families physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually. We offer inpatient and outpatient services to needy patients and families.
For bedridden patients, we had provisions for visiting and providing palliative care at their homes. Such patients can register for our Home Care Program at an affordable range. The team of Palliative Care serves as per the needs of the patients and not on the patient’s prognosis.

Medicinal help was also beneficial. Dr.Veenita Sharma gave all time to time help. Also Dr. Umesh Gujjar helped how to do dressing forthe bed ridden body,that was helful. Most important is parent got emotional support how Dr from Bombay giving so much help. Because of your timely help, I could focus on doing kirtan for my Father, reading Srimad Bhagavtam and Chaitanya charitamrita for him and also do some body care according to your guidance on WhatsApp and phone.
