Your Care is devoted to giving love and
holistic health care to people in a number of
ways.
We meet the needs of those who need Eye Care,
Kidney Care, Rehabilitation Care and Community
Care by providing free medical treatment to thousands
of those who just cannot afford to make their
both ends meet, let alone obtain medical treatment.
Medial services include surgery and treatment
for the children, eye surgeries for the elderly
and children, Artificial Kidney Dialysis and a
full time mobile clinic for rural health programmes.
A strong emphasis is placed on raising awareness
among people regarding health issues.
We could share our care by medical relief, food
relief, counseling, spiritual care and in many
other ways during Earthquake, Tsunami, floods
and other disasters including the recent Mumbai
Bomb blast.
The greatest strength of Share Your Care
is its people. Their organizing principles - faith,
the inherent dignity and value of life, and the
necessity of hard work - have served to create
an authentic human community of hope in the minds
of the people.
The staff, from doctors to drivers, from cooks
and kitchen helpers to childcare workers, social
workers, fieldworkers and all, understand what
sets their group apart from the ordinary. That
quality can readily be seen and heard in the faces
and words, and sensed in the spirits of those
getting benefited from this work.
In 1992 a group of young, dedicated doctors, realizing
the fact that India’s rural areas lacked
even basic health care, came together and decided
to provide several villages with health amenities
that will be holistic and affordable. Considering
this as a Divine Calling they took this golden
opportunity to serve the humanity. Supported by
enlightened industrialists, these caring doctors
started a small nursing home at Mira Road, which
later blossomed into the ‘Bhaktivedanta
Hospital’. The health care activities
are carried out through Bhaktivedanta Hospital.
From 1998 we have touched many lives and brought
back the smile on their faces.
Many professionals, businessmen, philanthropists
and many others are a part of this growing mission
of Share Your Care.
Much has been done and still much remains
to be done.
You too can be a proud member of this mission
with a difference. |
