The Centre functions through the Out Patient Department (OPD), Casualty, and Operation Theater (OT) along with the Internal Patient Department (IPD) comprising of the state-of-the-art fully equipped Intensive Care Unit (ICU).


 


OUT PATIENT DEPARTMENT (OPD)



  • OPD Timings: 9 am to 9 pm

  • Well-experienced and qualified Orthopaedic Surgeons are available at the OPD as per schedule

  • The OPD is well-supported by the Department of Radiology with advanced USG, X-ray and CT-scan diagnostic machinery for investigations

  • It is well-equipped to undergo procedures like plaster casting, dressings and suture removal

  • The OPD is spacious to accommodate wheelchair and stretchers for mobilising severely disabled patients


 


CASUALTY


Bhaktivedanta Hospital & Research Institute uses the Triage Process to identify patients who need immediate medical attention based on the severity of their injury and prioritise patients’ treatment. The Casualty team is capable of handling all Life & Limb Saving Procedures.



  • Spacious and well-equipped, Casualty is attached with a state-of-the-art Minor Operation Theater for carrying out emergency primary procedures to stabilise patient’s condition

  • Orthopaedic Surgeons are available on call round-the-clock for treating emergency cases

  • The Casulty is manned with well-trained staff and Casualty Medical Officers


 


OPERATION THEATER (OT)


The dedicated, state-of-the-art Orthopaedic Operation Theater (OT) is fully furnished with equipment of international standards for various Ortho Surgeries.



  • The OT is spacious with adequate number of highly advanced Maquet Orthopaedic tables and overhead lights

  • C-ARM Image Intensifier machines, advanced Anesthesia machines, Arthoscope and specialised Orthopaedic instruments are installed inside the OT

  • Hepa Filter and Air Filtration Unit with laminar flow is installed to carry out various highly advanced surgeries like Arthroplasty, Arthroscopy, Spine Surgeries, complicated trauma surgeries, etc.

  • High standards of sterility are maintained inside the OT with support of the Central Sterile Services Department (CSSD)

  • High standards of infection control measures are carried out inside the OT daily and at regular intervals

  • In case of a severely ill and serious patient the OT is well-supported by ICU/ICCU backup

  • The OT is manned with specially trained and dedicated staff & technicians
