The Annual Spiritual Retreat organised by the Department of Spiritual Care is a perfect opportunity for the patients, doctors, staff as well as their family members to experience a higher taste of spirituality and connect with the Absolute. Each year the retreat is held at an important holy place(s) in India over a period of 5 to 7 days. During the retreat, participants relish the glories and stories of the holy place(s) narrated in detail by Dr. V. G. Shanbhag – Deputy Director, Department of Spiritual Care Training and Education. They also learn the art of praying and meditating for spiritual enrichment. Provision of pure holy food and a peaceful staying environment uplift the spirits of one and all.
