Continue Practicing Everyday Preventive Actions 

    • Cover coughs & sneezes with a tissue. 

    • Wash your hands often with soap & water for at least 20 seconds. If soap & water are not available, use a hand sanitizer that contains 60% alcohol. 

    • Clean frequently touched surfaces & objects daily,  using regular household detergent & water. 

    • Avoid sharing personal items like food & drinks; promote the importance of practicing good personal health habits.

    • Provide your sick household member with clean disposable face masks to wear at home, if available. 

    • Take care of the emotional health of your household members & help your child/children cope after the outbreak. 

    • Stay in touch with others by phone or email & contact nearest healthcare centre if needed.

    • Eat hot meals timely, drink warm water, hot MILK/SOUPS/KADHA & avoid refrigerated food/drinks.    

    • Consume fresh fruits & vegetables, but avoid fruits like Melons/Citrus/Grapes & non seasonal fruits. 

    • Avoid Untimely Sleeping, Go to Bed by 10 pm & Get At Least 7 hours Sleep.

    • Not Every cold/cough is corona virus infection. 

    • Taking a hot bath does not prevent the new coronavirus disease 

    • The new coronavirus infect all age group of people but older people are     worst affected 

    • Antibiotics are not effective in preventing & treating the new coronavirus. 

    • There are not any specific medicines or vaccines to prevent or treat the new coronavirus. 

    • There is no evidence that eating garlic help prevent infection with the new coronavirus. 

    • Only wear a mask if you are ill with COVID-19 symptoms (especially coughing) or looking after someone who may have COVID-19. Disposable face mask can only be used once

    • COVID-19 virus can be transmitted in areas with hot & humid climates also. 

    • Cold weather & snow CANNOT kill the new coronavirus. 

    • Hand dryers are not effective in killing the new coronavirus. 

    • An ultraviolet disinfection lamp does not kill the new coronavirus. 

    • Thermal scanners/Cameras don’t detect infection but detect people who have developed a fever due to any reason not just coronavirus. 

    • Ordering or buying products shipped from China will not make a person sick. 

    • Coronavirus is not the deadliest virus known to man, Ebola, SARS were more deadly

Bhaktivedanta Hospital & Research Institute received ‘Patient Experience Leader of the year’ award in the Medium Hospital Category. The award was presented on 11th December 2019 at Hotel Shangri La, New Delhi, India.

The award was presented during the Patient Experience Conclave which was held in Hotel Shangri La, New Delhi and was the first of its kind in India.


The conclave was curated by the Customer Relationship Academy of Asia (CRMAA) a nonprofit body of CRM Professionals in partnership with Terragni Consulting and the Indian Chamber of Commerce.
